The Lamentation of Christ
Consider the patience of Jesus, who endured so much misunderstanding, betrayal, and suffering, yet continued to love unconditionally.
– St. Thérèse of Lisieux
You will notice a change in mood as we approach the Third Week. There is a sense of urgency in Jesus. The hour of His fulfillment of the prophecies approaches. As you pray, take time to notice His emotions. Being fully human, He also felt many of the same feelings we do. Observe them. Recognize them. Realize He can fully understand you, because He’s felt many of the same things you have.
